Review of Chitika and Its Pair With Google Adsense and Infolinks

What is Chitika?
Chitika is an advertisement program which gathers advertisers and web publishers on a single platform. Webmasters always seek to maximize their earning using all possible means. So far, Google Adsense is the highest paying program for webmasters without a doubt but the good news is, it lets you use other paying programs provided that the ad units of those programs don’t resemble to the ad units of Google Adsense.
Is Chitika a Scam?

Chitika Vs Adsense:
Don’t think about Chitika vs Adsense type comparisons, As far as Chitika paying rate is concerned, let me clear one thing, it is not even close to Google Adsense, so don’t expect any miracles. If you are thinking about removing Adsense and using Chitika alone in place then you will surely be disappointed however if you plan to use Chitika in addition to Adsense then it for sure is a decent addition to your website earning, especially for those webmasters who make websites solely to be monetized by advertisement programs like Google Adsense or Infolinks.
Chitika Vs Infolinks:
I have personally used both Chikita and Infolinks and I say both of them perform almost equal in their slabs. It all depends upon your niche area and the advertisement slab. Both of them pay well if your website falls into the areas for which they have plenty of advertisers. But if they don’t have targeted ads for your website, you will find them extremely low paying. In my experience, I rank Infolinks slightly over Chitika but maybe that’s because of my niche area.
Using Google Adsense, Infolinks and Chitika all 3 Together:
I have seen cases in which webmasters have used Google Adsense as their primary pay per click program but have used Infolinks and Chitika as well on the same website as second and third source of earning. That sure is a good way to monetize your website but in order to do so, you will need to place ads on the bases of their earnings ratio. Google Adsense is the most paying pay per click program so it should occupy the most prominent advertisement areas. Infolinks offer text based advertisement so it can cover comments section or any least important text paragraphs. Chitika can be placed to fill empty area where visitors may possibly click in cast of their interest. Infolinks and Chitika will not adversely affect your Google Adsense earning and you will have a boast in your overall website earning.

Chitika Ad Formats and Ads Placement:
Chitika ad formats include 728×90, 120×600, 468×60, 300×250, 250×250, 180×150, 120×120 and 120×60 size plus they have mentioned that they can create a custom ad format for you if you request. Chitika has no maximum limit of ads per page like Google Adsense, so you can place as many Chitika ads as you want on any webpage. Although it is not a good idea to fill your page with ads only but you won’t get your Chitika account banned even if you fill your page with Chitika ads. That’s a plus point if you have such type of website that has plenty of ad spaces on every page.
Chitika Affiliate (Referral) Program:
Alternatively if you are not interested in pay par click program of Chitika, you can earn using Chitika affiliate program as well. Apparently their affiliate program is very attractive and can produce lots of earning if planned properly. You will receive $25 if you refer an advertiser to their website and that advertiser spends $100 or more in ad campaigns. On the other hand, if an ads publisher signs upon chitika through you, you will get 10% of your referred ads publisher for next 15 months of your referrals approving date. That’s means if you refer 10 successful ad publishers to Chitika website and they earn $1000 per month each, you will get $1000 per month. However it is not as easy as it seems, conversion ratio in affiliate system depends upon the type and quality of your website traffic.
Chitika Search Targeted Ads:
Chitika ads script can distinguish between direct visitors and visitors from search engines. If a visitor comes from a search engine, Chitika ad script can display ads according to the search keyword for which your website visitor searched prior to visiting your website. This is a very useful feature because visitor is more likely to click on an ad related to the keyword he was searching for.
Chitika Payment Methods:
Chitika pays its publishers either using Paypal or using Check. Minimum payout Paypal is $10. If you want to receive a check then you will need to have minimum $50 in your account to have a check issued. Payment is sent to you after 30 days of your payment maturity.

In Text Advertising (Infolinks vs Kontera vs Adsense)

There are several ways to monetize your website traffic but usually a beginner websites starts with Google Adsense. No doubt that Adsense is the best PPC service out there. However Adsense also allows webmasters to use third party PPC companies as well provided that their ads don’t look like those of Adsense. So after searching a lot on the web, I came to know that In Text Advertisement is probably the best PPC system to use along with Adsense. There is virtually no chance that the ads can look like Adsense ads so you are safe to use In Text Advertising services along with Adsense.

Now the second question is, “which in text advertising company is best?”. You will be able to see many comments in the comments section on this question but personally I only see two companies worthy to put on your website in the context of in text advertisement.

Infolinks
Kontera

Infolinks is a legit business, not a scam one. No doubt that infolinks is my first choice. I myself tried them on my website and have seen very good results so far. They are good, friendly and give you support when required. When you use their code on your website, the code automatically convert some keywords on your website to hyperlink ads. Infolinks admin panel provides a way to change colors of in text advertising links. In addition to that, you can change them to have double underlines if you want to separate them from your single line hyperlinks. Although the click rate of Infolinks is a way lower than Adsense but their CTR is always higher than Adsense which compensates the loss a bit. The only drawback of Infolinks I have seen so far is their surprisingly low rates for Asian traffic, other than that they are fine. If majority of your website traffic comes from any Asian country specially from India of Pakistan, then you probably should think once again before using Infolinks on your website.

Kontera is also a reputable in text advertisement PPC Company which is compatible with Adsense. You can use it along with Adsense without any worries. I haven’t seen any significant drop in my Adsense earning after addition of Infolinks or Kontera on my website so they are worth trying. If I analyze PPC share of my website income, Adsense has almost a share of 70 to 75% and Infolinks has a 25 to 30% which is not bad. After requests from various visitors, I decided to write a detailed review about Swagbucks.com. I faithfully tried my best to gather all the possible information about Swagbucks but I still cannot claim 100% accuracy of this review. First of all, I would like to mention that Swagbucks currently only registers visitors from USA, United Kingdom or Canada so if you are not from these 3 countries, please don’t waste your time on this topic. Swagbucks is a search based work online and earn type program. The basic idea is to search and earn points. A point is actually called a Swag bucks. It acts like their currency which is redeemable. You can use it to get prizes from a list available. Every prize has a price in SB (Swag Bucks), if you have sufficient SBs for an item, you can purchase it. So you don’t directly earn the money but you actually earn redeemable points. Swagbucks don’t have a membership fee so don’t worry about your money, even if it happens to be a scam, all you can lose is your time spent on it. I haven’t been reported any verified scam report about Swagbucks yet but I am still receiving reviews. For example, users say that the redeem prices are too high. Some members say that most of the redeemable things are actually useless posters and ever useful item has too high redeemed price. Some account locking reports are received but I think it is ignorable that’s because most of the users try to abuse every work online program.

It looks like the website owner resides in US so most likely it is not going to be a scam unless the address is fake. But US users can easily verify their legit entity. Swagbucks also has a blog where you can find their codes to increase your points. I usually try every work online program before posting a review on work online forum but Swagbucks refused to register me due to the fact that I am not from USA, United Kingdom or Canada. I will highly appreciate if you can post a review about Swagbucks in the comments section. Even if you don’t want to register on Swagbucks, revisit this page after a few days and you will find a lot of reviews from our visitors in the comments section.
Conclusion: For the time being, I haven’t received any Scam reports about the Swagbucks so you can give it a try. You are only required to search once or twice in a day which will take a couple of minutes so I think the risk it not too much however take a look on the comments section which will be updated continuously, may be you can find a scam report there by the time you visit.
